Big Little Artworks

Where paintings by little artists become big contemporary artworks

Rachel transforms your little artist’s paintings into a display-ready, framed collage capturing a special time in their life

What is a Big Little Artwork?

Rachel brings her collage practice to children’s paintings and drawings, carefully transforming your child’s artworks from kindy and early primary school into one large artwork.

Parents have approached Rachel seeking a meaningful display solution that collates the vast amount of creative output from their child’s early years. The finished product is a large, display-ready collage that captures a special season in the child’s life.

Albie’s Story

The very first Big Little Artwork was for a child called Albie, a gifted young painter. Albie’s parents got in touch with Rachel to find an impactful display solution for Albie’s kindergarten paintings. They wanted to celebrate his creativity, and working with an artist who could creatively display them seemed like the perfect option.

Rachel admired the freedom and joy in Albie’s paintings, and took great care to preserve Albie’s painterly voice throughout the process. Albie’s parents were thrilled seeing the finished product. His Mum said “I just had no idea it would look this good!” The impact of a large, professionally made artwork is now the whole family, and visitors, can see and appreciate Albie’s creativity.

Thank you, Albie, for being the first Big Little Artist!
