Visual Artist & Facilitator
Rachel is a visual artist living on Jagera & Turrbal Countries (Brisbane, Australia).
Her work is an ongoing study of the formal elements of colour and composition. She transforms easily found materials like paper, cardboard and fabric into objects of significance, often building works from the tiniest of fragments. Her practice includes the following mediums: paper: collage, paper mache; textiles/fibres: applique, weaving, embroidery; and painting. Her intuitive, process-driven works create a sense of warmth and vitality. See a selection of her work here.
Rachel is passionate about bringing people together and using the art making process to provide enjoyment and connection. Her learning environments are uplifting, supportive and authentic, giving everyone a ‘way in’ to the world of creative expression. Learn more about her workshops here.
